Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Office of the Sheriff’s third Stuff the Cop Car community donation event is happening on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Ferguson Road Polly’s Country Market.
Jackson County Detective Bre Tucker spoke to WKHM about the event, explaining that the donations will go to local Jackson County families in need as well as local food pantries.

Donation items that are needed include canned goods, non-perishables, and pantry foods. Food items that need to be refrigerated or frozen will not be accepted, and neither will already opened items or used clothing.

Detective Tucker said that Polly’s Country Market has been a great partner for the event over the last few years, and that this is a great opportunity for the community to help the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office make a positive impact for those in need.
